Free Gas Cylinder Entitlement
To be eligible for the free gas cylinder under the Ujjwala Yojana, you must meet the following criteria:
- hold a valid ration card
- Be married
- It is compulsory to have an Aadhar card and all required document.
- Be of eighteen and above years of age
- Be applying for the benefit for the first time to gazettem.
How to Apply Online for Ujjwala Yojana
1. Go to the official web site pmuy.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, one will have to select the “Ujjwala Yojana 2. 0” option that appears on the webpage.
3. Choose any of the gas companies of your preference.
4. To proceed with the application, one has to click on the “Submit” button to enable him or her to fill or input the necessary information.
5. Make sure you fill in your name, address, mobile number, Aadhar number, ration card number along with your bank details correctly.
6. When you have filled the form, surrender it and attach with it a photocopy of the form and the documents to a nearest dealer.
You should receive the benefits within 15 working days from the day your application is processed.
